Calgary's Own 'Junk' Playground!

Have a look at this article by Global News! It covers Calgary's Confederation Park 'junk' playground, which includes every day items like bathtubs, tires, wood planks...you name it! The idea of the park is to inspire kids to get outside, be active, and get creative! A playground like this provides not only the opportunity for children to play without structure, choose what toys and equipment they want to use, and inspires the imagination, but also encourages risky play. Together, these elements all contribute to furthering physical literacy. Pretty cool stuff!
